Rae’s Hope Inc. Honored at Ebony Sister Speak Luncheon

Coach Angela FieldsRae’s Hope Inc. was honored at the Sister Speak luncheon hosted by Ebony Magazine and sponsored by Pine-Sol on Saturday, October 24, 2009, at the Omni Hotel in Dallas, Texas. The luncheon featured Dr. Grace Cornish, award winning life coach, Diane Amos, the Pine-Sol spokesperson, and women who have impacted the Dallas community. Angela Fields and Rae’s Hope Inc., along with five other women, were honored because of their contribution to their community.

Rae’s Hope Inc. was given the “Unsung Hero” award along with a $2,000 donation. The “Pine-Sol Lady, Diane Amos, spoke to the 350 member audience about the importance of sisterhood and what it means to her. She left the crowd with an amazing quote her mother told her, “rest in passion, move in reason.”

The keynote speaker Dr. Grace discussed different topics from relationships to loving oneself. She emphasized the importance of surround yourself with people who have your best interest at heart. She commended all the recipients of the awards and urged them to continue helping the community.
